Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Parallax Horizon ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our websites, products, and services ("Services"), including Parallax Lumina, Smartops Copilot, and Parauxo.
This policy applies to visitors, registered users, and enterprise customers. Enterprise customers with a separate Data Processing Agreement should refer to that agreement where it conflicts with this policy.
Information We Collect
Account information: name, email address, organization, and authentication credentials provided when you create an account.
Usage data: Inputs you submit to our models and agents, Outputs generated in response, and metadata such as timestamps, feature usage, and session activity.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and log data collected automatically when you access our Services.
Payment data: billing information processed through our third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.
How We Use Information
To provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including processing Inputs through our AI models to generate Outputs.
To improve reliability, performance, and safety of our models and systems, including through aggregated and de-identified analysis.
To communicate with you about your account, product updates, and security notices.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, abuse, and violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
AI Training and Model Improvement
We do not use customer Inputs or Outputs to train our production models by default.
Enterprise customers may opt into managed fine-tuning or model improvement programs under a separate written agreement that specifies how their data will be used.
We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual or organization to improve product quality and safety systems.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with subprocessors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, analytics, and customer support, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Parallax Horizon, our users, or the public.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
Data Retention
We retain personal information and usage data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to retention periods required by law or legitimate business needs such as fraud prevention.
Data Security
We implement encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments to protect your information.
Further detail on our security practices is available on our Security & Compliance page.
International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect data transferred internationally.
Enterprise customers may request data residency controls to restrict processing to specific geographic regions.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and California may have specific rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@parallaxhorizon.com.
We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
